Hi Alison

Please can you advise if including your salts in the love birds water will/can support any deficiency that may exist due to trace mineral deficiencies in the seeds etc.?
Thank you

Hi Janis,

Yes, you can happily add tissue salts, either ground up to their seeds or dissolved in their water. I give my pasture-roaming chickens tissue salts every day in their feed, and I think it has helped them to withstand the Newcastle disease and dreadful bird flu we've had in the region over the last few years. I've also had pigeon breeders use the Calcium salts in their bird feed to strengthen the eggshells; so depending on what you'd like to achieve, you can select the individual or Synergy tissue salts appropriately.

Best wishes,
Alison
